Ningbo Huali Steel Co., Ltd is a large-scale manufacturer of 0cr15al5 FeCrAl Alloy Strip in China, specializing in producing 1.4725/Cral4/0Cr18Al4, 1.4767/Cral6/0Cr21Al6, 0Cr15Al5, etc. Drawing from experience we have gained of cold rolling and our research and developments, we can refine the alloys we use on a continuous basis. We receives worldwide appreciation from all leading manufacturers of heating elements for OEMs.
0cr15al5 FeCrAl Alloy Strip or Iron-chromium-aluminum alloy strip 0Cr15Al5 is a high-performance electric heating alloy material formed by adding chromium (Cr) and aluminum (Al) elements to iron (Fe). Its core components are: chromium content 12.0%-15.0%, aluminum content 4.0%-6.0%, the balance is iron, and contains trace rare earth elements (Re) to optimize performance. This material is made through precision smelting, hot rolling, annealing and surface treatment processes. It has a uniform ferrite microstructure and has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high resistivity, etc. It is widely used in industrial heating, civil appliances and special environment electric heating element manufacturing.

Ningbo Huali Steel produces and supplies 0cr15al5 FeCrAl alloy strip that has excellent high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high electric-heat conversion efficiency, etc.
In an air environment, the continuous working temperature of the 0cr15al5 FeCrAl alloy strip can reach 1250℃, and the short-term peak temperature can withstand 1300℃. For example, in an industrial box furnace, the heating element made of this material can stably operate in an environment above 1200℃, meeting the needs of high-temperature heat treatment.
By adding rare earth elements, the alloy has slow grain growth at high temperatures, improved creep resistance, and continuous operation at 1250℃ for 80 hours without significant deformation, and its service life is 2-3 times longer than that of traditional nickel-chromium alloys.
A dense Al₂O₃ oxide film (melting point 2050℃) is quickly formed on the surface at high temperatures, effectively isolating oxygen diffusion. Experimental data show that after oxidation in air at 1200℃ for 100 hours, the weight gain per unit area is only 0.8g/m², which is much lower than the 2.5g/m² of nickel-chromium alloy.
Aluminum reacts with sulfur to form high-melting-point sulfides. In sulfur-containing industrial atmospheres (such as petrochemical cracking furnaces), the corrosion resistance of 0Cr15Al5 is 50% higher than that of nickel-chromium alloys, reducing the frequency of component replacement.
The room temperature resistivity is 1.25±0.08Ω·mm²/m, which is higher than that of nickel-chromium alloys (1.09Ω·mm²/m). Under the same power demand, the material usage can be reduced by 20%. For example, when manufacturing 10kW electric furnace wire, the wire diameter of 0Cr15Al5 can be reduced by 0.5mm compared with nickel-chromium alloys, reducing manufacturing costs.
The temperature coefficient of resistance is only 0.0001/℃, and temperature fluctuations have little effect on power, which is suitable for precision temperature control scenarios (such as laboratory muffle furnaces).
0cr15al5 FeCrAl alloy strip is a high-performance alloy material, mainly composed of iron, chromium, aluminum and other elements. Maximum temperatures are as follows: CrAl4/1.4725 up to 1.000°C, CrAl6/1.4767 up to 1.200°C.
